First paperback edition. Thriller about: "a lone Englishman and two beautiful women are held prisoner by a gang of mad hippies led by the demented Starbuck. The hostages' only way of escape lies in a maze of underground caverns.and to get out they must face the crazy Starbuck and a raging brushfire." The real attraction here though is the cover photograph that features a fear-crazed, hirsute, bearded, ankh-and-bead-wearing, hippie who is fleeing the aforementioned brushfire with an unintentionally humorous expression of abject horror on his face. Sometimes a great cover is enough. Very good.
