Terms of Sale
All items are subject to prior sale. We make every effort to keep our listings current and accurate, but availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed.

Condition and Descriptions:
We strive to describe all items as accurately as possible. Photographs, if included, are of the actual item unless otherwise noted. All condition grades follow commonly accepted bookselling standards. Please review item descriptions carefully before purchasing.

Pricing:
All prices are listed in the currency displayed on the AbeBooks site. Prices are subject to change without notice but will be honored as listed at the time of purchase.

Order Processing:
Orders are typically processed and shipped within the handling time stated in each listing. Buyers will be notified if there are any delays. Orders may be canceled if payment is not completed or if there are issues verifying availability.

We ship items only on Fridays and Saturdays. Orders placed from Sunday through Thursday will be processed and shipped the following Friday. Please keep this schedule in mind when placing your order. Buyers will be notified if there are any exceptions or delays.

Payment:
Payments are processed securely through the AbeBooks system. We do not receive or retain your payment details.

International Orders:
We welcome international orders. Please be aware that customs duties, import taxes, or other fees may be charged by your local authorities. These charges are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the item or shipping price.

Returns & Refunds:
We accept returns in accordance with AbeBooks’ return policies. If an item arrives damaged or not as described, please initiate a return request through AbeBooks within the allowable return period. Refunds are issued once the item is received in the same condition as originally shipped.

Packaging:
All books are carefully packaged to ensure safe delivery. We use appropriate materials to protect the item during transit.

Lost or Delayed Shipments:
In the rare event of a lost or significantly delayed shipment, we will work with you and the shipping provider to resolve the issue. Please allow the standard delivery window before contacting AbeBooks about delays.

Disclaimers:
We are not responsible for typographical errors or inaccuracies in listings, though we do our best to avoid them. If a pricing or description error occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the order prior to shipment. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.

Shipping Terms
We take pride in ensuring that your books arrive safely and in the condition described.

Shipping Schedule:
Orders are shipped only on Fridays and Saturdays. Orders placed between Sunday and Thursday will be shipped on the following Friday. Please consider this when placing your order, especially if your purchase is time-sensitive.

Packaging:
All books are securely packaged using sturdy materials appropriate to the book’s size and condition. Hardcovers and fragile or valuable items are typically wrapped in bubble wrap and shipped in rigid mailers or boxes to prevent damage during transit. Softcovers and smaller items are protected with backing boards and padded envelopes where appropriate.

Shipping Methods:
We ship via standard postal services, with tracking where available. Expedited shipping options may be available depending on location and service availability. Please note that some international shipments may not include tracking depending on the destination and shipping method chosen.

Shipping Rates:
Shipping rates are based on the average weight of a standard book (approximately 1 kg or 2.2 lbs). Oversized or multi-volume sets may require additional shipping charges. In such cases, we will contact the buyer to confirm any additional cost before processing the order.

Estimated Delivery Times:

Domestic orders: Usually arrive within 3–10 business days after shipping.
International orders: Delivery times vary widely depending on destination, customs processing, and postal service conditions but generally range from 2–6 weeks.
Customs & Duties:
International buyers are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or import fees required by their local authorities. These charges are not included in the item or shipping price.

Insurance:
Insurance is not included by default. Please note that uninsured packages are shipped at the buyer’s risk once they have been handed over to the postal carrier.

Lost or Delayed Shipments:
If your order is significantly delayed or believed to be lost, please allow the full estimated delivery window to pass before contacting AbeBooks. We will work with you to investigate and resolve shipping issues to the best of our ability.
