Blue cloth, bumped to corners and a bit rubbed and faded, with a few small marks. Binding good, with a little movement. Endpapers tanned. Some foxing to prelims. 340pp., contents clean and bright. Ralph Hale Mottram (30 October 1883 16 April 1971) was an English writer. A lifelong resident of Norfolk, he was well known as a novelist, in particular for his "Spanish Farm trilogy", and as a poet of World War I. He rose to become Mayor of Norwich in 1953.
