Jos� Luis Sampedro naci� en Barcelona en 1917. Pas� su infancia en T�nger y su adolescencia en Aranjuez, ciudades de gran influencia en su obra. Actualmente reside entre Madrid y Tenerife. Es catedr�tico jubilado de Estructura Econ�mica, escritor y miembro de la Real Academia Espa�ola. Es autor de numerosas obras de econom�a: las m�s importantes son Conciencia del subdesarrollo y Las fuerzas econ�micas de nuestro tiempo, traducida a seis idiomas. Entre sus novelas cabe destacar La sonrisa etrusca, La vieja sirena, Octubre, Octubre, Real Sitio y El amante lesbiano. En sus libros m�s recientes, El mercado y la globalizaci�n y Los mongoles de Bagdad, ofrece un reiterado testimonio de su infatigable esp�ritu de lucha contra los horrores de la guerra y la injusticia en el mundo. Olga Lucas (Toulouse, 1947) naci� en el seno de una familia espa�ola en el exilio. El paso por los pa�ses del Este le proporcion� la oportunidad de estudiar lenguas eslavas y trabajar como int�rprete, traductora y locutora de radio. Tambi�n fue funcionaria de la Generalidad Valenciana. Su actividad cultural se ha desarrollado en �mbitos alternativos y/o locales (Valencia): ha sido impulsora del Taller de los Etc�teras en Radio Klara y la Esfera Azul; ha participado en las actividades y lecturas p�blicas del Instituto de Estudios Modernistas y la Tertulia Literaria La Buhardilla, en cuyas antolog�as figuran poemas suyos, algunos de ellos traducidos al b�lgaro, y ha publicado cuentos y poemas en diversas obras colectivas. Es autora de Poemas de andar por casa y Cuentos para ciegos (I.E.M.), adem�s de una novela y numerosos cuentos y poemas in�ditos.
