The various productions include; 1. Crime Comes to Lungtown produced and directed by Kevin O'Kelly for the Anti -Tuberculosis Section of The Irish Red Cross Society. Date on top left hand corner is circa 28/5/45; (2/3) A 127pp typescript with Act 1 Scene: "A Farmhouse in Ireland. Time: Late Evening." The characters in this are Stephen & Michael Healy, Nicky Dwyer, Julia Keogh, Larry McLaughlin, Johnny Costelloe, Father Flattery & Ned Lawlor. 2 copies of typescript - one without characters listed; (4/9) More transcripts for: productions featuring Harry Edmonds: Stony Acre - as playright and actor; Rendezvous, The Unknown Warrior; Volpone + 4 part scripts of other plays. These latter items w.a.f. The final item in this section is a mounted professional photograph of the actor and writer Harry Edmonds; (10) The final items in this collection is a typescript of the play The Salt Sea the first radio of Mr. Fergus O'Mara. With this are some press clippings and correspondence between O'Mara and Micheal O hAodha of the Productions Deprtment, Radio Eireann in 1952. The typescript seems incomplete. The typescripts are generally well annotated, underlined and used by Harry Edmonds. At the time he resided in rented accommodation in Rathgar in Dublin. Their condition ranges from about fair to good. Circa 1945 -49. Seller Inventory # 020546
