in-8, (171x127 mm), pp. (16), 44; iniziali, testatine e finalini in xilografia. Legatura in piena pergamena floscia. Prima edizione, rarissima (censita in sole 3 biblioteche italiane); un'opera pressoché identica ma con titolo di poco diverso (A Collection or Narrative Sent to His Highness.) è stata stampata sempre da Robinson nello stesso anno, con talmente poche differenze che si possono considerare due varianti della stessa edizione. La collection è stata riunita dal pastore Jean-Baptiste Stouppe (1623-1692), ugonotto di origine italiana che negli anni Cinquanta del XVI secolo si trasferì in Inghilterra e fu impiegato da Oliver Cromwell in importanti missioni diplomatiche e di spionaggio. E' lui che firma la dedicatoria a Cromwell e probabilmente anche la lettera al Lord Protettore che chiude la raccolta, ma potrebbe anche aver redatto qualcuna delle altre 9 memorie raccolte nell'opera. "To the Christian reader", che serve da introduzione, è tra i testi più ricchi di informazioni e notizie sulla recente storia valdese, alcune riportate soltanto nella storia del Léger (cfr. Balmas). Gli altri opuscoli che compongono l'opera sono: A Briefe Apologie in the behalfe of the Reformed Churches in the Valleyes of Piedmont; With a Narrative of what hath happened in the execution of the Arrest issued against them the 25th. of January, 1655 -  Andreas Galstaldus. appointed to put in execution all orders which are published against the pretended Reformed Religion, in the Valleys of Lucerne, Perouse, and St. Martin.
