Clive Barker (born 5 October 1952) is an English author, film director and visual artist best known for his work in both fantasy and horror fiction. His fiction has been adapted into films, including the Hellraiser series, the first installment of which he also wrote and directed, and the Candyman. His work has also been adapted in the world comics, including Next Testament, Nightbreed, and the Hellraiser series for BOOM! Studios.
