Binding is very secure--staples are intact with no tearing of the cover at the staples and all pages are firmly attached; there is very slight wear along the fold. Pictorial front cover is very clean with virtually no wear and several tiny creases at the staples. Rear cover also is very clean with no paper damage and an ink stamped date ("May 20, 19--") at the fore edge.
