Classics Illustrated Jr. #538: Silly Hans. FIRST PRINT (inside the front cover, it advertises next month's title). 32 pages. Softcover. Condition: Near Fine. Except for inked markings on inside of front cover (connect the dots), the interior is clean and free of tears, chips and stains; paper is moderately toned but not brittle. Binding is very secure--staples are intact with no tearing of the cover at the staples and all pages are firmly attached; there is slight wear along the fold. Pictorial front cover is clean and has very light general wear with a 1" strip of slight color distortion along the entire fore edge, minor bumping at the lower fore edge corner, and an ink stamp ("L 8 12") in the middle of the cover. Rear cover is very clean and undamaged.
