About the AuthorMichel Pratt is a historian specializing in urban history. He has taught at both the university and CEGEP levels and has written some twenty books. He has been honoured with the Quebec National Assembly Medal, the Lieutenant Governor's Silver Medal for Seniors, the Prix Dollard-Morin, and the Prix d'Excellence Honorius-Provost. Some of his works have also received awards.
