《荒漠化防治原理与技术》系统地介绍了风蚀荒漠化、水蚀荒漠化、盐渍荒漠化等荒漠化的成因、特点及防治原理与技术措施等。其主要内容包括绪论、荒漠化防治基本原理、风蚀荒漠化防治原理与技术、水蚀荒漠化防治原理与技术、盐渍化防治原理与技术、荒漠化监测与评价方案。《荒漠化防治原理与技术》可作为荒漠化防治及相关专业学生的教材使用，也可作为从事荒漠化防治工作的专业技术人员的参考用书。荒漠化是全球性的重大环境问题，已引起国际社会的广泛关注，中国作为世界上荒漠化面积最大、分布最广、危害最为严重的国家之一，对荒漠化的形成、发展及控制给予了高度重视，特别是进入20世纪80年代以来，随着荒漠化的发展，沙尘暴危害已严重威胁到人民生命财产的安全，阻碍了社会的进步，因而控制荒漠化和沙尘暴已成为中国当前乃至今后的一段时期生态环境建设的主要任务。一、荒漠化的概念及内涵自从1977年的内罗毕国际防治荒漠化会议以后，国内外对“Desertification”一词的解释达几十种之多。过去在我国一直把它译为沙漠化，经过近20年的探索和研究，1994年9月我国政府签署了《国际防治荒漠化公约》文件，把英文“Desertification”统一翻译成荒漠化，并在1994年发布的《中国21世纪议程——关于人口、发展与环境白皮书》中进一步确立了荒漠化概念，它包括了沙质荒漠化、水土流失、盐渍化等土地生产力的退化。《联合国防治荒漠化公约》中确认，荒漠化是指包括气候变异和人类活动在内的种种因素造成的干旱地区、半干旱地区和亚湿润干旱地区的土地退化。荒漠化的实质是指土地的退化。土地是指有生物生产力的陆地生态系统，由土壤、植被、其他生物区系和该系统中发挥作用的生态过程和水文过程组成。土地退化是指由于利用土地或由于一种作用或数种作用结合导致的干旱区、半干旱区与干旱的亚湿润地区的雨浇地、水浇地或草地、牧场、森林及林地生物或经济生产力和多样性的降低或丧失。包括：①风蚀、水蚀引起的土壤侵蚀；②土壤物理特性、化学特性及生物特性或经济特性的退化；③自然植被的长期丧失。干旱区、半干旱区和干旱的亚湿润区是指年降水量与年潜在蒸发量之比在0.05～0.65的地区，不包括极区和亚极区。该定义明确了三个问题：（1）荒漠化是在包括气候变异和人类活动在内的多种因素作用下产生和发展的。（2）荒漠化发生在干旱区、半干旱区及亚湿润干旱区（指年降水量与可能蒸散之比在0.05～0.65的地区，但不包括极区和副极区），这就给出了荒漠化产生的背景条件和分布范围。（3）荒漠化是发生在干旱区、半干旱区及亚湿润干旱区的土地退化，将荒漠化置于宽广的全球土地退化的框架内，从而界定了其区域范围。20世纪60年代末和70年代初，非洲西部撒哈拉地区连年严重干旱，造成空前灾难，使国际社会密切关注全球干旱地区的土地退化。荒漠化名词于是开始流传开来。据联合国资料，目前全球1／5人口、1／3土地受到荒漠化的影响。前言第一章绪论第二章荒漠化防治基本原理第一节生态系统原理第二节景观生态学原理第三节生物多样性原则第四节可持续性准则第三章风蚀荒漠化防治原理与技术第一节风蚀荒漠化防治的风沙物理学原理第二节植物治沙的基本原理第三节风蚀荒漠化防治原则与措施体系第
