The instructions are simple, the list of ingredients is clear, the correct glass and/or garnish is stipulated - and each recipe is accompanied by a colour photograph to show how the drink should look once it is made. Many also include the name of their creator or notes on their historical background. Besides the recipes, the publication includes detailed instructions for beginners, as well as tips for professionals.
Simon Difford has been involved in most aspects of the drinks industry from running his own off licence and wholesale company to importing and brand creation, but is best known as a drinks writer and publisher.
