About the Author

Edith Bruck a vu le jour en Hongrie, dans un petit village, derni�re de six enfants, le 3 mai 1931. D�port�e � l’�ge de 13 ans, elle a surv�cu avec sa sœur. Apr�s un s�jour en Isra�l, elle s’installe en Italie en 1957 et adopte la langue italienne. Par sa libert� de ton, son engagement politique, son f�minisme, son œuvre litt�raire et cin�matographique, c’est une des figures les plus singuli�res du monde culturel italien.
