Le argomentazioni del reverendo De Vincentiis spaziano dal pensiero religioso all'analisi della societa' del tempo per lo piu' legate a posizioni arcaiche ma discusse con grande veemenza, citando a volte il Vangelo, altre grandi scrittori, come ad esempio De Amicis, che definisce piu' socialista che cattolico, quindi capace di essere imparziale.
