Jos Boys was course leader for one of the first under-graduate programmes in the country to provide one lap-top per student which fully integrated ICT with face-to-face learning. She then worked as an instructional designer and researcher for the Centre for Educational and Technological Development at De Montfort University, Leicester. In addition to co-authoring this book, Jos has undertaken several evaluation projects for JISC including Managed Learning Environments, joined-up systems and the problems of organisational change.
