About the Author

Michel Walrave is an associate professor at the University of Antwerp, where he is head of the Department of Communication Studies. He is responsible for the research group MIOS and his own research concerns ICT-related (privacy) risks.
Wannes Heirman is a researcher in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Antwerp. He is currently investigating young people’s response to online marketing and privacy issues.
Sara Mels is project coordinator at the University Centre Saint-Ignatius Antwerp (UCSIA).
Christiane Timmerman is director of the Centre for Migration and Intercultural Studies at the University of Antwerp and former academic director of the University Centre Saint-Ignatius Antwerp.
Heidi Vandebosch is an associate professor in the Department of Communication Studies at the University of Antwerp. Her main research interest is in cyber bullying amongst young people.
