Loosely inserted is an invitation to the private view of the exhibition, addressed to Roger Smith, who is credited in the foreword as the designer of the catalogue and poster for the exhibition. This catalogue was produced to accompany the exhibition of work by Sir John Millais 1829-1896) held at the Royal Academy of Art, London which then toured to the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, from January to April 1967.
