The extended polyhedra: Net designs and patterns for cutting out and folding into 3D paper models of amazing geometric solid shapes

One of the most exciting geometric playthings gets even more fun in this volume!

Though math is relevant, the activity is more of a craft thing, which can reward a lot in many aspects. Polyhedron-loving folders at every level of experience, both children and adults, can enjoy and relax with this intriguing art form.

This book features various foldable net designs, ready for cutting out and folding into 15 amazing paper models or 3D baubles, for your creative group activities, themed parties, or just for fun. These models contain Platonic or Archimedean solids as the base shape, plus unique extensions such as regular pyramids, inverted pyramids, triple cones, pyramidal frustums, non-uniform antiprisms, and more. Aesthetic black and white patterns are also added to all designs.

Comprehensive introductions, detailed instructions from cutting, folding, and gluing to assembling, and illustrated descriptions for every design, are available inside. Needed to complete each project are the single-sided printed pattern pages from this book, plus scissors and glue. Once finished, the dimension measures between 5 to 10 cm (or around 2 to 4 inches) each.

Just grab this book and immerse yourself in the learning and relaxing activities while making these gorgeous things.
