Have no fear, Jaques Voleur. (Code Name Anywhere.)

Step into the unpredictable life of Jaques Voleur, a clever, tired, and often misunderstood "high school" junior with a desire for calm consistency. At Judd Nelson High, a gritty, paint-chipped building filled with quirky classmates and a colorful array of cliques, Jaques navigates the daily grind of teenage life with sharp wit, quiet confidence, and an unrelenting curiosity about the world around him.

From dodging neighborhood dogs on his walk to school to reluctantly sparring with philosophical adversaries in the lunchroom, Jaques isn't your typical teenager. His observations cut through the trivialities of adolescence, revealing a deeper struggle to find his place in a world where expectations don't align with his values. Whether he's using his ingenuity to hustle a game of cards, defending his French heritage in heated debates, or wrestling with the absurdities of his classes and teachers, Jaques brings a refreshing mix of humor, insight, and raw honesty to every interaction.

Surrounded by a memorable ensemble of friends-including the hilariously inappropriate Cheese, the laid-back and steadfast Billie, and the ambitious Spencer-Jaques' world is as vibrant as it is chaotic. Together, they navigate the complexities of growing up, and dreaming beyond the confines of their school's rigid walls. But even amid the camaraderie, Jaques wrestles with larger questions about identity, ambition, and the meaning of success in a society that often prioritizes appearances over authenticity.
