Las profesiones del trabajo social son por lo tanto imprecisas, condici�n que comparten con todos los dem�s grupos profesionales si se sigue el an�lisis de Didier Demazi�re, para quien �las diferencias profesionales son inestables, las profesiones son provisionales, las especialidades son temporales� (2008, 43). Como en muchos otros campos, la profesionalizaci�n del trabajo social es evidente, aunque parcial, vacilante y contiene agujeros... como el queso suizo Emmental. Los programas de formaci�n en trabajo social comienzan a principios de la d�cada de 1920. Se basan en las normas del plan de reconstrucci�n establecido despu�s de la Primera Guerra Mundial y en reacciones a los numerosos desarrollos sociales en curso. Estos dos factores cristalizan las tensiones y las evoluciones de estas formaciones. Este art�culo abordar� en primer lugar los or�genes de dichas formaciones de manera descriptiva, para luego comprender las evoluciones y los desarrollos encontrados, respuestas localizadas que permiten entender las transformaciones actuales.
