Three lovely little volumes in remarkable condition for their age (over 90 years old). Volume 1 was published in 1930 and the other two in 1931, Each contains 100 black and white photographs of items in the V&A collection within the stated categories. Each volume has a two page introduction by Eric MacLagan which is followed by 100 photographs with captions but no other text. No Dust Jackets (as issued). Covers; decorative coloured paper with different coloured lettering in a cartouche to front of each; all very clean and bright for their age; some darkening to spines and edges but few other signs of shelf wear; spines intact with slight creasing; glue on spines of Volumes 2 & 3 has dries and detached along spine but all present. Internally: very clean and soundly sewn bound; previous owner's very neat initials to front free end paper of volume 1; occasional spots of foxing mostly on end papers, not affecting images.
