He founded Rennert's Gallery, an auction house dealing only in rare antique posters.A first edition.From the library of Paul Gallico with a Christmas gift inscription to the title page reading, 'For my Bean, with Christmas Love.' dated Noel 1974. Paul Gallico was an American novelist and sports writer best known for his novel 'The Poseidon Adventure'.Illustrated with ninety-five plates in colour depicting these wonderful pieces of circus history. Collated, complete.A marvellous exploration into the history of the circus. In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally generally smart, with just a little edge wear. Internally, binding is a little tender. Pages are generally bright and clean, with some marks to the title page. Very Good.
