A novel in which a young detective, accompanied by his police dog, is hot on the trail of a robbery and murder, probably committed by the dreaded 'Thirteenth Hour' murderer. Spotting to edges; rubbing and wear to head and tail of spine; tail of spine has two short splits (longest 11mm); age-tanning to edges of pages; d/w has 70% of spine missing (11.5 cms); d/w has two edge losses to front and rear panels, and corners of the d/w; else a good plus copy, in a good only d/w, of a SCARCE first edition thus.
