1st Ed. (III), 4, XII colour plates of Flags, 359, (IV-XIV advertisements) PP with 1 page of drawings for the "Semaphore Alphabet". Supplement No. 1 of May 1934, loosely inserted. Cloth covers, title and device in blind on front, gilt title and device on spine. Covers lightly marked, and spine with 3 small holes. Stamp of The Adelaide Steamship Co. Ltd at top of advertisements (ii) page. Slight ageing of paper, occasional foxing spots, o/wise contents near fine. Scarce. Image shows title-page. 27.8 x 22.5. The 12 colour plates: British Flags (I to III), National Flags (IV to X) and Signalling Flags and Pendants (XI & XII) are in excellent condition.
