1st Australian edition. (4), XII colour plates of Flags, 360 PP with 1 page of drawings for the "Semaphore Alphabet". Cloth covers, title and device on front board. Covers and spine faded and worn around edges, with some soil marks and light speckling. Slight ageing of paper, occasional foxing spots. Stamp of the "Australian Water Transport (small craft)." on endpapers and top of plate X. A near fine copy. Scarce. 18 x 14.
