Pp [64] + original paper covers. Young man from Athens in Limestone County, Alabama runs for governor of the state in 1978 as a Republican, just a few years before the Republican Party ascendency in Alabama. Here he gives valuable political and historical insight into that failed campaign. And he also talks about major problems the state was facing in the late 1970s - many of which the state still faces.
