About the Author

The late F. N. Monjo, author of The Drinking Gourd, wrote two other popular I Can Read Books: Indian Summer and The One Bad Thing About Father. Justin Monjo was born in New York City and has written for television, film, and theater, including the award-winning adaptions of That Eye the Sky and Cloudstreet.
