He was to the poetry movement what Picasso, Rodin, and Hemingway were to their media. Pound was a minimalist who eschewed the use of adjectives, yet still brought to brilliance his expression and literal achievement. "The teacher or lecturer is a danger. He very seldom recognizes his nature or position. the lecturer is a man who must talk for an hour." (p 67). G+ with some occasional underling and short notes in pencil in Section 1 of book and foxing spots on top and fore edge. Includes very uncommon dust jacket, Good with tears at extremeties and corners, sunning on spine, some handling wear. Now appropriately preserved in mylar. Red cloth with titling on spine in gilt.
