Both volumes bear the signature of a "William Rice" on the title page (see pics). The title page of volume one has a closed tear along the left side near the binding. A nice originally paired set in the original binding, which is scarce to find on the market. A detailed record of South Carolina laws from 1791 to 1804, with helpful indexes and Tables of Acts.
