A first US edition paperback with a stated first printing September 1971. Heavy age tanning to pages making them rather brown but eminently readable. The insides of the covers are also tanned and the inside of the rear cover is discoloured which matches the shape of the orange colour on the rear cover. I don't know if the rear cover should be all red but this one is partly red and partly orange (I can't find a photo of another copy to compare). The covers are generally grubby and are showing signs of wear to the extremities. Light reading crease to spine. There is a crease across the top right-hand corner of the front cover and one across the top left-hand corner of the rear cover.
