This listing is for a first edition of "More Adventures of Rupert", published by Harrison & Sons Ltd in 1942. The annual is softcover and tightly bound, although there is a split running down the vertical edges of both cover seams front and back, which is visible when you open the annual. The covers are bright but there is evidence of light creasing and rubbing in places and the top inch of the spine is chipped / missing, with remnants of a sellotape repair. The interior pages are all clean and bright and unfaded. The exception is the "This Book Belongs To" page, opposite the title page, which is completed in blue ink by the former child owner. The annual is NOT price clipped and states 3s/6d. The bottom corner of the last end paper at the back is torn away. The title page states this is No. 1 in the series "Caught in the Spider's Web.".
