8vo, xiii, 299 pgs, endpaper maps, illustration. Original decorative cloth, VG+ condition. Price clipped DJ is soiled and lightly worn on spine ends, now in mylar sleeve. The author first went to Alaska early in the 20th Century. He worked aqs a prospectors, trapper, and later for the Alaska Boundary Survey. He was employed by the U.S. Forest Service for over 30 years. After retirement, he became a hunting guide.
