Royal Blue cloth with gilt blocked titles to spine and front on bevel edged boards, 210 x 155 mm approx. Top edge gilt, 416 pp. Portrait frontis of subject with tissue guard + One other such as called for. First Edition 1884. Author not credited - but her younger sister Princess Helena later Princess Christian of Schleswig-Holstein. The book is from the library of A W Ward one time master of Peterhouse Cambridge with his book plate to front paste down and that of his daughter and son in law Cynthia & John Barnes to free front end paper. (Sir John - late British Ambassador to the Netherlands and previously Israel). Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition.
