PUBLISHER: Farrar and Rinehart DATE/EDITION: 1942, First Edition, colophon on copyright page with no added printings indicated. A special page indicates this is number 804 of the Pittsburgh Edition of The Allegheny signed by the author with the authors signature below that. No indication of how many copies were signed and numbered. BINDING: Hardbound in orange cloth with gold lettering on a black title block on the spine, 280 pages. DUST JACKET: The jacket is priced 2.50 on the front flap. There is edge rubbing and chipping at corners and spine ends but overall the jacket is still good and attractive, in a protective cover. BOOK CONDITION: Very light rubbing at spine corners otherwise covers are very good, bright and clean. There is a tiny bit of play to the interior front hinge otherwise the binding is tight and the interior is clean. The words pinetree farm are stamped on the numbered page and the rear end page and written in the gutter of the dedication page is gift and a name, with no other marks to the interior.
