About this Item

This is a UK hardcover published by Williams & Norgate in 1884. The photos show the book's condition better than I can describe, but it's in bright, Very Good condition with overall straight spine, softened corners and softened spine ends. The pages are heavily toned with pages that are free of foxing. The inside front board is still firmly attached to the book but as you can see is worn at the seam. The copyright page states FIRST SERIES. The year of publication is not stated but research reveals this to be 1884. Seller Inventory # 015049

Shipping Terms:

I charge shipping that reflects my actual costs. I do NOT offer cheap shipping and add it to the book price so please do not complain to me that Bob down the road offers cheaper postage. Sure he does - but the price of his book is hiked to reclaim it, or you're referring to a power seller who can negotiate postage discounts. I can't - I'm a private individual selling my private collection. ABE only allows me to set one postage rate so I charge the rate for hardbacks sent in a box with bubble wrap and polystyrene peanuts. Where postage is less - eg a paperback or small hardback - I refund the difference once I get my receipts and know the exact cost. ALL UK parcels are tracked. if you live outside the UK tracking is NOT provided unless you choose priority mail. PRIORITY MAIL TRACKING IS IMMEDIATELY UPDATED otherwise I will only update ABE with UK tracking details on request, and only when 10 working days has passed. There will be times when, due to the value of the book, I will insist on priority mail and this will be clearly stated in my listing. If you ignore this, your order will be refused.
