Original light green imitation morocco wrappers, with title and picture of two girls carrying baskets of flowers, stamped in gold on front cover, and four-line blind-stamped border on both covers, gilt edges; a clean, fresh copy of this delicate book with just a hint of wear at the head and tail of spine. Twenty-four bright, clean pages with colored illustrations in text, including a full-page color frontispiece and twelve half-page color drawings, being one for each of the months. The text pages have interesting facts for each day of the year in addition to other information that was surely useful in 1884 organized under such headings as Birthdays of the Royal Family, Public Museums and Galleries, Eclipses, 1884, Transfer Days of the Funds, Quarter and Half-Quarter Days and Post Office Regulations. This book was printed by Edmund Evans. The condition of this book is NEAR FINE.
