ALL UK PARCELS SENT TRACKED! ALL OVERSEAS PARCELS SENT AIRMAIL, TRACKED! (S/hand, Hardcover, 1958). 1958 1st edition - re-issue. 8vo (145 x 221mm). Pp117 + 2pp ads. Not illustrated. Issue B - Blue cloth, spine titled in gilt. The photograph plates from the first issue have been omitted from this re-issue, and the list of illustrations (page seven) has been excised. Boards rather worn and faded, foxing throughout. Reading copy only, lacks dust-wrapper. Commander Walker's reflections on angling in chalkstreams, including the Driffield Beck. Two states of this first edition are known, the first bound in red cloth, the second bound in blue cloth. All copies of the blue cloth issue that we have examined have page seven (list of illustrations) excised and lack all of the black and white photographic plates. The red cloth issue includes page seven and is illustrated with black and white photographic plates. Both issues were priced at 15/-. .
