First edition. xiii, [iii], 403p. Illustrated with woodcuts and 10 brilliantly printed color plates. Bound by W. Root in full rich brown crushed morocco with marbled endpapers, t.e.g., the spine with gilt titles and coaching devices in the panels, the covers with four border rules gilt with horseshoe cornerpieces. A bit of spotting to the upper edges of the tissue guards and plates, else a fine copy with original cloth covers bound in rear.
