Thick octavo size volume in original gray printed wrappers. Expected wear to the fragile wraps with 1" piece missing tail of spine and small piece at head of spine. Wonderful large fold-out colored map in front of the Canal Zone, 13.5 inches by 38 inches. Illustrated througout with early photographs, maps, and charts, including several more fold-outs. Of particular historical significance relating to the history and construction of the Panama Canal.
