Published in 1858 this is an original part issue of Eyton?s ?Antiquities of Shropshire? in its original card printed covers, this issue is Vol VI, Part I, running to 96 pages, plus a double page map and four engraved plates, and contains the author?s accounts of the history and antiquities of Condover, Berrington, Longnor, Cound, Harnage, Kenley, and most of the part on Acton Pigot running to 97 pages in total, some marking and darkening to covers, wear with mild loss at spine ends internally light browning to page edges, a few creased page corners, creasing to lower edge of last page, a number of pages remain unopened along to edge, this can be resolved with careful use of a knife, (see pictures) else in good general condition.
