Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. No Jacket. 1st Edition. "Arranged For Self-instruction Of Teachers, Parents, And Students". Believed to be first edition and printing. In good plus tan cloth boards, brown titles with small red shapes to front and spine. The boards are flat, quite tight; edge-worn and grubby. Clean yellow and white patterned end papers; attractive book plate dated 1928 on front paste down. The page block is tight and straight and unmarked and illustrated throughput in attractive colour and b/w designs, patterns, drawings and figures. Copyright page a little loose and webbing from spine visible. Very good condition and overall condition is very good minus as boards do not match the condition of pages. Hardcover. Condition: Good. This book has gentle cracks in the binding at the title page and page 80-81 that reveal a small amount of the webbing however no pages are loose, a former owner's signature on the pasted-down front endpage, loose hinges, rubbing and surface scratching to both covers, shelfwear to the edges and corners of the covers that has resulted in some fraying of the cover fabric, a slightly shifted spine, a torn corner and some color loss to the pasted down image on the front cover, and an overall gentle aging to the pages, otherwise this book is in good reference condition with crisp, unmarked pages and a strong cover.
