Item description from seller

First edition of Buhlmann; second edition of the Laureys. Folio. Both works have been disassembled (probably due to broken bindings, and each plate mounted by hand on a separate sheet and gathered into fasicules and housed in a portfolio. Both works are quite scarce. As noted, this is a hand gathered work. The Buhlmann is complete in 27 plates; the Laureys is missing one of its 70 plates. Still quite a useful book. First edition of Buhlmann; second edition of the Laureys.
