About this Item

Octavo, 286 pages. In Good plus condition with a Very Good minus dust jacket. Spine has red lettering on white background. Dust jacket is in a mylar sleeve, spine is lightly sunned and soiled with hand written "Part One" on it. Front has some fraying at top and rear has a piece of yellowed tape along with a 1.5-in. tear at the top, soiling all the way around. Bound in blue boards with gold lettering on the spine, that Close-up Magic, unlike subsequent printings with the entire title. Slight dents at top and bottom of spine, book is slightly cocked. Text block has age toning and light soiling. Illustrated. Shelved Room B. 1391695. Special Collections.
