Loosely inserted 4 typed (roneoed) foolscap pages detailing Art Spectrum events for the August Bank Holiday at Alexandra Palace including the film programme listing films by John and Yoko, Derek Boshier, Bruce Lacey, Conrad Atkinson, Mark Boyle. This insert is very rare indeed. The catalogue has many small b&w photographs of exhibits. Original mauve (lilac?) card covers with seven pear-shaped windows cut out of the front cover and replicated off-centre on the first page. David Hockney, John Lennon, Gustav Metzger, Victor Passmore, Scratch Orchestra, Yoko Ono, Bruce McLean, John Latham, Birgit Skiold, Allen Jones, Tony Stubbing, Peter Lacoux,Tim Head, William Pye, Carlyle RTeedy, Eddie Wolfram, Liliane Lijn, Gillian Daniell, Ian Breakwell, Ivor Abrahams, Carol Joseph, Kay Hunt, Michael Rothenstein and Barry Martin were among the 100 odd artists showing at the exhibition which was organised by the Greater London Arts Association and the Arts Council of Great Britain. It was one of seven exhibitions forming a major nationwide survey of contemporary art in the United Kingdom with a view to staging a large exhibition at the Hayward Gallery, London, in the summer of 1972.
