Very Good (some wear cover; contents clean with some cracking rear hinge, but still tight). 12mo., decorative embossed blue cloth, stamped in black First Edition. The first 117 pages of the book basically reprints letters from famous people in history. The next 66 pages relate to properly preparing and wording invitations to parties, weddings, etc. for use in polite society. With illustrations. There are several tipped-in notifications from the publisher in the second text. A rather unusual and scarce book on an important aspect in higher-class life in the Victorian era. Interesting!.
