Probable first edition. 285 pages. Hardcover; H 20cm x L 14cm. Original blue cloth well soiled, spine darkened with almost illegible lettering, rubbed silver stamped lettering upon front board, spine worn at ends, board corners bumped with cloth nicked at top corner of rear board. Hinges splitting; non-authorial 1905 gift inscription upon front flyleaf; some soiling and toning to leaves. Frontispiece and plates. Introductory two-page poem by C. Jennie Swain dedicated to the author. Features numerous poems by Emma Rood Tuttle with some short essays and stories at rear attributed to Clair Tuttle. A complete but poor copy. OCLC cites only fourteen copies among member libraries.
