1955 1st edition. 302pp. Near Fine/Very Good. Hard green boards with very minor rubbing to edges/spine. Contents clean and tight. Nice DW with minor rubbing/chipping to edges, a few small tears to edges, minor soiling. Maps at endpapers. B&W photos and drawings throughout. Account of an expedition to the Himalayas in 1954 to investigate the legend and possible existence of the Yeti or Abominable Snowman. Included in the party were Izzard, a journalist and adventurer, and cameraman Tom Stobart.
