An informative guide to accidental injuries to workmen, with reference to the Workmen's Compensation Act which had been passed three years previously. The first edition of this scarce work in the publisher's original cloth binding. Previous owner's ink inscription to the front free end paper, dated 1909. A study of accidental injuries to workmen, with an analysis of to the Workmen's Compensation Act of 1906, passed three years before the publication of this book. This work was written to assist with cases of accidental injury, making reports, and giving evidence to claim compensation. Included is an article on injuries to the "organs of special sense" (such as the ears and eyes) by Cecil E. Shaw, and a legal introduction by Thomas J. Campbell.Eight pages of publisher's advertisements to the rear. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, though a little faded, with faint marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean except for offsetting to the end papers. Very Good.
