Some mis-pagination at end but with no disruption of text or sense. Includes a booksellers' advertisement for 'The Case of the present Afflicted Clergy in Scotland, truly represented.' on page 68. *The first letter is ascribed to by Thomas Morer, the second and third to John Sage, the fourth to Alexander Monro. In a postscript to the first letter, written from Glasgow, the author adds "We are hastening to the Sea-side, to be transported into Ireland, an Expedition no way suited to a Man of my Constitution; but I submit to my Lot, and humbly intreat Your Lordship to consider me."* A very good copy without any library stamps, inscriptions, or other markings.
