The Text Block is made of a heavy laid paper and is clean, white, tight, straight and square with gilt topstain, deckled fore-edges and no markings of any kind. The Binding is full green cloth, color uniform throughout, with a boat design in black along with bright gilt title and author on the front board, the same repeated on the spine, unmarked white endpapers, and all corners square with light wear at the tips. A collection of eight (8) short stories, each followed by a poem, along with eight (8) illustrations by seven different artists, including the frontispiece.
